May Fayre
About the Event
The Grainthorpe May Fayre is a one-day craft fayre held on the May Bank Holiday Monday, running from 10am to 4pm. Craft stalls are sited inside the Barn at Tithe Farm and in the Village Hall, while the surrounding yard hosts a display of vintage agricultural machinery and implements.
All proceeds support St Clement's Church and Grainthorpe village organisations. The event is entirely volunteer-run and has taken place annually since 1996.

Who can apply?
The May Fayre is open to crafters only. Artists wishing to exhibit and sell paintings or prints should apply for the Festival of Arts instead.
Suitable stalls include handmade goods, gifts, jewellery, textiles, ceramics, woodwork, and other handcrafted items. All work must be made by the stallholder.

What's included and what you need to bring.
Stall Fee
£8 per stall for the day. Payment is by bank transfer after your application has been accepted.
Tables & Space
One 6 ft trestle table is provided per booking. Additional tables may be requested on the form subject to availability.
Insurance
Valid Public Liability Insurance is required. You will be asked to provide your insurer's name and policy number on the application form.
Setup
Stallholders may set up from 8:30am. All stalls must be ready by 9:45am. You are responsible for bringing your own display materials.

Submit Your Application
Complete the online booking form below. You'll be asked for your contact details, a brief description of your craft, your insurance details, and any table or space requirements.
Receive Confirmation
We review all applications and reply by email, usually within two weeks. Acceptance is at the discretion of the organising committee. We aim to offer a good variety of crafts across the event.
Pay the Stall Fee
Once accepted, you'll receive bank transfer details. Payment of £8 must be made within 14 days to secure your place. Spaces are not confirmed until payment is received.
On the Day
Arrive from 8:30am to set up. A volunteer will greet you and show you to your allocated stall. You keep all proceeds from your sales. The event closes at 4pm; please allow time for pack-down.
